ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE FOOD PANTRY!

Our collection of nonperishable food items goes to Grace Presbyterian Church‘s food pantry in Selden.  The pantry is running very low right now, so please consider adding some extra items to your cart the next time you are at the store.  Especially needed are:  boxes of cereal, ready-to-eat items like tuna fish & peanut butter, and toilet paper — but any basic pantry items are welcome.  Please place your donations in the bins outside of the church office.  Thank you!

Brighter Tomorrows:

Domestic violence is a topic that we often read about but have few opportunities to relieve. Many “safe houses” in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties need products for women who have fled their homes in haste. Donated products should be travel size, samples, or hotel “freebies.” Place items in the special basket in the Parlor.  Each month they will be taken to “Brighter Tomorrows”.  Requested items include deodorant, combs, brushes, shampoo, nail polish, makeup, etc.
