Labyrinth walking, a journey of the mind, body and soul. Forgo expectations and allow an open and curious mind. Experience the experience for yourself.  Moving your body gently through the circular rhythms and letting your brain work from the outer to inner self, and journey back out again in a ruminative stream. Introspection into reflection.

We are lucky to have the Practical Resources for Churches in Patchogue. The folks there are truly inspirational and encouraging. SPC has on loan their portable labyrinth for the week of 9/11. Starting with a “Remembrance Walk” on 9/11, we will embark on a series of labyrinth walks. They will all take place in the MJR. Each day will feature a walk at varying times of day to hopefully meet the myriad of personal schedules.

Below you will find the schedule. Please sign up for a walk (or more than one!) that suits your schedule. And in order to maintain a loose flow for folks to truly take their pace and keep their space, please be flexible on expectations of time. Plan to come, join with the first or second or third grouping of walkers. If you are waiting either before or after you are welcome to sit in meditation on the periphery of the labyrinth. Some find that a good way to prepare or take some time for prayer after.
