Introducing Veronica Wilkom
Director of Spiritual Formation & Wellness
Veronica obtained her Bachelor's in Social Welfare from Stony Brook University in 2019 and graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2024. For the last 5 years, Veronica has worked as a substance abuse counselor providing harm reduction and strengths-based counseling services to individuals 18 years and older. With her advanced training and previous work experience, Veronica will serve as a resource not only to our children, youth, and young adults, but also to their families and the congregation as a whole.
There are many opportunities for children and youth to feel included and grow their faith at SPC.
On Sundays, kids can attend a Church School that provides an excellent foundation in biblical principles through a new-to-us curriculum called Godly Play. SPC kids learn in a specially dedicated classroom with brand new furnishings and then join the adults in our Fellowship Hall after church for treats and play.
Learn more about Godly Play here.
Youth programming includes confirmation classes, service projects, fun activities like our upcoming Escape Room, and opportunities to accrue community service hours as a youth leader working with our youngest members.
